Holà
First of i have to tell you about my school here in Mexico, it has about 50 students, the oldest 20 and he is in the class above me, the younegst is about 13 I think. Inn my class there is only 5 sudent, me, my brother 2 girls (think i should have rememberd there names by now, but I don't) and Ylias a AFS-student from Belgum. That's my class
I must say this weekend has been very interesting.
To start of with a little of what I wrote on my cellphone yesterday, havn't quite found out who to update my blogg from my cell-phone, but I am working on it.
Riding shot-gun throu Mexico City, I do that a lot these days, it's a big city with a lot to see
and familie-members all over this gigantic city.
This time I have Low Rider in my ears, damn that's a chatchy song.
My head is filled with the intoxicating polluted air of Mexico City.
Life coulden't be much better.
The weekend started on tursday because of the independence day, we got the day of from school on friday and no classes on tursday.
Friday was the independence day here in Mexico, 196 years since Mexico declared there independence from Spain,
Because of that we had a party at school on tursday and no school on friday, We used the day to sleep in a bit, go to Six Flags http://www.sixflags.com/intl/intl_mexicocity.html and party a bit with the familie.
This is me and my new brothers.
Inn Six Flags I took some crazy rides and eat a big burger (Western double bacon cheese burger) with chips and a coke, it was good.
I've been to the top of that gigantic metal thingy, and it was scary and I mean scary.
After that, we cruised into town to the Azul stadium, there we bougth tickets from a guy henging out outside of the statium.
We payed 300 pesos for each ticket, that is twice as much as what the ticket actualy cost, but hey they don't call it black market for nothing.
To me it was worth it, they said that if we where to buy them the way they you are supose to be bougth we had to stay in line forever and much more. so for 150 pesos it was worth it.
After that since it was the independence day we had to party so we went to my new grand-parents, to have a few beers and some tequila and to watch Vincent Fox's last shout.
Vincent Fox is the President of the country I am now living in.
Is term is up in Desember, so this is his last Independence day as presidente, people say he was a good president so they don't what him to go, but he has to because you can only sit on term as president her in Mexico and then it is over.
The man to take over after Fox is a man by the name of Felipe Calderon.
There has been a lot of trouble worth this years election, I have trying to understand it but, after sevral atempts I have given up.
Americas vs Cruz Azul
The next day we went to a fotball match, actually it is a local game since both teams are form Mexico.
I went to the game without a favorit team, my new brothers have Cruz Azul as as there favorite team, but my new father has Americas as his favorit so in this house that is a regular discusion.
The game was at Cruz Azul stadium, so after buying a Cruz Azul cap, driking beer form a Cruz Azul beer mug and ofcourse seeing the Cruz Azul Cheerleaders I was sold.
That is the good thing about going to a fotball match in Mexico, you can drink in the stadium, they can smoke to, but since I don't do that I don't like it.
But the feeling you get sitting there with a cold beer in you hand, watching a game with over 40 000 other people you can't beat that.
So the game ended with Cruz Azul 1 Amercas 2, so my father was the only happy on on the way home, but hey I got BEEER!!
On the way home from the game we stopped of at one of the many food-cartens, this one sold so form of korn on a stick with butter, mayo and chilli.
It tasted pretty wired, but I have to try new things, that's life.
I have tasted better.
I must say I'm enjoying my stay here in Mexico, as the title of the new Paperboys album ''So far, so Good''
I actually brougth that with me(I think)
The thing is not much has change in my life since comming her to Mexico, maybe it has something to do with the fact that I have been here in this familie for 3 weeks now. I have my lap-top, and on a good day I can connect to the internet, through the neighbours wireless:D So I can still keep in touch with the people I want to keep in touch with, thank God for the internet, who would I have been without it?
And as every fucking Sunday here in my new familie and country we have to go church every sunday and for a kid like me raised without the help off religion. I can probably count on my fingers how many times I have been to church in my life. I have been to church once in my life because I wanted to and that was in Poland and they had some damn nice paintings. But you get used to it (I hope).
That all for now, been working on this for almost 2 days now, but the neighbours internet isn't all that stabil.
Hasta luego
